Festival National Touring Band Cross-Eyed Possum & Grace Honeywell

Cross-Eyed Possum is a Folk-Americana band led by identical twins. The band’s tangled roots in the calculative nature of jazz and classical music and the passionate voice of popular song combine to make music that knows no bounds. From music school to big stages, they bring an adventure to every show.

The group performs mostly original music that was inspired by a mix of the wide genres of music the twins grew up with (Americana, Rock n Roll, Bluegrass, Folk), their Jazz and Classical university experiences, and their stories of life and touring on the road.

Cross-Eyed Possum performed at the Grey Fox Bluegrass Festival and several other festivals and esteemed listening rooms on a 42 day summer tour in 2024 that the band independently organized spanning the length of the United States and even heading into Canada. They have also performed and participated in a number of other festivals and tours over the past 5 years, including winning the 2022 Pickin In The Pines Band Competition.

Grace Honeywell blends musical styles with elegance, warmth, and whimsy, captivating audiences with her authentic voice and gentle acoustic backing. Grace continues to redefine what it means to be a modern troubadour, seeking to create spaces where deep emotions can be expressed and shared. Her debut EP Alone, All One, features original songwriting that explores themes of gratitude, taking chances, and leading fiercely with love.

Grace flows between lively fiddle-playing into acoustic guitar backing, singing her original songs with honeyed authenticity. This year marks the start of her nomadic musical journey, performing in both solo and collaborative projects across the Pacific Northwest and in the UK. Grace’s recent performances include collaborations in Glasgow, Scotland, with musicians like Laura Jane Wilkie and Jeri Foreman, and at festivals including the Bellingham Folk Festival, NW Folklife, and the Dorrigo Folk and Bluegrass Festival in Australia, where she was also an
instructor at Stringmania. Her music style weaves together Scottish, Irish, Bluegrass, Old-Time, Folk, and Americana influences. Her songs tell stories of life, love, and all the messy bits between.
