A Benefit Concert for Claudia Tulip

The William Eaton Ensemble presents WEE Rock As One: A Benefit Concert for Claudia Tulip. This concert features their signature world chamber fusion sound, created by silver flutes, world percussion, and one-of-a-kind exotic instruments, such as the Violira and Electric Harp Guitar.

The Ensemble celebrates three decades of playing, creating, and recording together and is composed of William Eaton (harp guitar), Claudia Tulip (silver and bamboo flutes), Allen Ames (violin, Violira and mandolin), and Will Clipman (panglobal percussion). Each an accomplished artist in their own right, they come together to create music both ethereal and earthy. Part myth, music, song, and storytelling, their performances and compositions combine traditional form with improvisation, drawing on influences from musical styles around the world. Whether spiraling upward into the ether like a hawk on a thermal or tapping bedrock like the roots of a great tree, the soaring harmonies and deep grooves of this world chamber fusion quartet led by renowned harp-guitarist William Eaton are inspired and inspiring.

The proceeds of this Benefit Concert will go to Ensemble member Claudia Tulip to cover her much-needed medical care. Within the past year, Claudia has been diagnosed with a rare, aggressive lymphoma which requires extensive treatments. This includes traditional oncology with integrative naturopathic oncology to support her body's natural ability to heal. Your support will enable a fuller integration of both modalities.

Please consider visiting the GoFundMe fundraising page for Claudia at: Link coming soon

Both concert-goers and those who are not able to attend the event can donate directly to the GoFundMe link above to support Claudia Tulip. Proceeds from ticket sales and merchandise sold will go toward Claudia’s medical expenses.

ABOUT THE MUSICIANS

William Eaton is a luthier, musician, and composer whose imaginative harp guitars and multi-stringed instruments have been recognized worldwide.

Claudia Tulip is classically trained, jazz-influenced and world music-inspired, performing on silver and ethnic flutes and panpipes.

Allen Ames never met an instrument he couldn’t play, including his innovative Violira, a bowed six-string hybrid instrument he designed and built.

A drummer since the age of three, Will Clipman has mastered a pan-global palette of indigenous instruments in addition to the traditional drum set during a career that has spanned nearly every known musical genre.

With a combined 13 GRAMMY® nominations and 5 NAMMY Awards (Native American Music Awards) the Ensemble’s Canyon Records CDs have garnered two Billboard Critics Awards, a Top 10 World Album, a Top 10 New Age Album, and the “Sparks and Embers” selection as one of the Top 25 Albums of the Year from “Echoes,” a radio program broadcast to over 300 radio stations worldwide.

Come enjoy this group of musical storytellers who invoke the magic of the moment as they draw inspiration and cues from each other and their surroundings while supporting beloved local community member and distinguished musical artist and teacher Claudia Tulip.
