Acoustic Eidolon, from Boulder Colorado comes to Old Town on Saturday, January 9 at 7:00 pm. Joe Scott and Hannah Alkire are a tour-de-force of acoustic music, and have been described as “World Music for the Soul.” Joe is the greatest double-neck guitjo player in the world, okay, the only double-neck guitjo player in the world, who also plays banjo, mandolin, guitar and vocals. Classically trained, Hannah plays cello in a variety of styles. With nine CDs and a DVD to their credit, they have created a signature new acoustic sound with the blending of Celtic, Folk, World & Latin music influences, something that Dirty Linen Magazine praises as “a sumptuous musical feast.”
