The Old Town Center for the Arts is very excited to announce that the 2025 edition of Joe Neri’s very popular annual Bob Dylan Birthday Concert will be on Saturday, May 17, 7:00PM. This will be the 20th anniversary of the show that Neri created in 2006, and this concert is sponsored by the Best Western Cottonwood Inn.

Bob Dylan, an American singer-songwriter, author, visual artist, Grammy winner, Academy Award winner, Nobel Prize laureate, and countless other accolades, is regarded as one of the greatest songwriters and musicians of all time. He has been a major figure in popular culture spanning the past 60+ years.

Bob Dylan was born on May 24, 1941, and celebrations of his music are held each year all around the world on or around that date. Neri’s collaboration with OTCA is one of the longest running Dylan tribute shows in the entire world.

Bob Dylan will be 84 years old on May 24. Joe Neri, almost but not quite that old, was born on the same date. And, although Bob and Joe have had dramatically different musical journeys, both men are still enjoying the satisfying lives of gigging musicians.

Since 2006, this annual celebration of the musical legacy of Bob Dylan, performed by some of the best musicians in the Sedona/Verde Valley area (and beyond), has been one of the most popular music events in all of northern Arizona. The 2025 edition promises to live up to that high standard.

Our 20th Anniversary Bob Dylan Birthday Concert promises to be the biggest and best yet, with a variety of local and regional musicians performing, along with some very special out-of-state guests. Local poet Gary Every, the official poet laureate of the Bob Dylan Birthday Concerts, will be emceeing the show for the first time.
